Please….say Thank YOU!

Please…..say Thank YOU!

All God wants is a “Thank You”. That is the sacrifice he is looking for (Psalm 50:14). Sometimes it’s a sacrifice to say thank you. Especially when things are not going your way. When sickness is in your body. When hard times are in the mist. Still God desires a thank you (1 Thes 5:18).  I don’t know anyone who would not want a thank you for something they did for someone else. When you say thank you you show your appreciation for them and for what they did for you. It shows a grateful heart for what was done.
Over and over you see in the Bible these two little words “Give Thanks”.  In the NIV version alone it’s mentioned 48 times.  Sometimes when you don’t feel like it you must declare Gods goodness and give thanks. Thanksgiving takes us to a place of recognition and commitment. It brings an awareness of our state and where we are. It causes us to see things from a different perspective. It allows God to work in our hearts and minds freeing us from the negative and bringing us to see our situation and circumstance with God’s eyes.  Being thankful is liberating it can free us from the chains that bind us (Psalm 118:21).

So let us be thankful and give God what he desires a sacrificial Thank You.

Thank you - 1
